  Everyone with MS eventually enters a phase where damaged neural pathways continue to deteriorate, thus making symptoms worse, the pace of the decline one of the few differentiating factors. Modern medical science has not found a treatment to reverse the course of the disease. As a result I, like others, decided to investigate other strategies. I was hesitant at first about energy medicine, specifically Chinese acupuncture and reflexology and less sure of how it might help me. Jane, however quickly made me realize that I was on the right path. She is thoughtful, empathetic and listens well as you describe your symptoms. Clearly an expert in her field, she will take the time to explain her procedures – and, for that matter, ancient Chinese medicine – in a way I can understand. It is impossible to fully measure the impact from my years of treatments by Jane but I certainly believe that, at the very least, the pace of my decline has slowed appreciably. Of equal or perhaps greater value is I have such a positive influence “in my corner.” The thought that I am proactively doing something to fight back, aided by someone as capable as Jane, is strong medicine in its own right. I feel as if she has taken a personal interest in trying new techniques to further improve the quality of my life. I don’t believe I have met a more compassionate health care professional anywhere.
